I wasn't impressed with D & B--they're overpriced for one thing. When we got there, they said there was an hour wait, so we headed to the bar. The bar people said they couldn't serve us food because we were waiting for a table. So we gave back the buzzer thing they give you to let you know your table is ready, and then they served us. There were only 6 of us, but they added an 18% "large group" fee to our bill. The games were OK, but I didn't think it was as good as the hype

Well that's a disappointment. We'll just go to the riverwalk or some other place to eat and waste time. I can't believe they call 6 a large group.

My sister just called to tell me her husband was on his way to the store and stopped at a casino since he had $15. (we're all crazy in this family) He was down to his last $2 and won $750. #1, why did he call her??? He's one of those people that can't keep from telling. Luckily, I don't have that problem. But, unluckily, I haven't won like that in a loooonnnngggg time.

We had a great time last night. It was really nice to see everyone. Special thanks to Mike and Debbie for allowing us to camp out at their home.

JB, Sheila says yes, our boys leave smellies in various places in our home and autos. It's sad but true.

joanie - that's nasty! i am soooo glad i have girls! now burping is a whole different (and accepted) issue for girls this day & age...

sounds like ya'll had big fun last night - i was there in spirit! wish i'd been there vs. here. i drank red wine AND champagne at a b-day party on a BIG boat (100 people) last night...mixing alcohol is downright stupid! its almost 5:00 p.m. & i'm still in my jammies (in bed) wondering who i am....ugh...sad.

now i see why folks get hooked on gambling - turning $15 into $750 is sweeeeeet!

Tama, I wish we had a boat that would hold 100 people! That sounds like a great party barge. And you're right--mixing booze is a recipe for a large hangover. I mixed wine and Amarula Friday night and paid the price. Luckily, I recovered enough to have a ball Saturday night.

DS, I'm proud to have Sheila as a personality sister. We can hang out together and I'll be the talker and she can be the listener.
