Oh, KB, if it was only that easy I would pay you to nap for me everyday.

02/24/09 01:47 PM #1990

Billy Hatfield

Thank You for the birthday wishes, and to KB I'm retired from basketball(arthritis and such). If you would like to join me in celebration, we will be eating dinner at the catfish kitchen in tahlequah at 7:00 tonight.

02/24/09 09:30 PM #1993

Leslie Crow (Reid)

i'm here.

Lets vote you party people

Mexican or Italian

I can't stomach both in one night!

Is March 7th a good day for all?

02/25/09 07:45 AM #1995

Tresa Reeder (Davis)

Either one the date is good

02/25/09 07:54 AM #1996

Joanie Brown (Edwards)

Sure, March 7 is fine. I love italian. But I love mexican too!

02/25/09 09:20 AM #1997

Julie Stiglets (Reagle)

I may be able to make it on the 7th--and I like both Mexican and Italian

Joanie, what was your question?

My kids are taking the state writing test today, so it's very quiet in here. At least for now

02/25/09 09:35 AM #1998

Kenny Boling

May I suggest......Italian?

02/25/09 10:02 AM #1999

Joanie Brown (Edwards)

Here it is, Julie.

1 over x-2 + 1 over x+2 = 4 over x^2 -4

I keep getting x = 2 and that aint right.

Joanie Brown (Edwards)

I can bring a pan of lasagna if we do italian. and a bottle of wine.

02/25/09 10:16 AM #2001

Julie Stiglets (Reagle)

OK, Joanie, we've just confirmed that there's a reason I don't teach math

I can bring lasagna or enchiladas, whichever works. But I've given up meat for Lent, so it will have to be vegetarian.

02/25/09 10:26 AM #2002

Leslie Crow (Reid)

joanie, is there an "=" in your equation somewhere?
or maybe i don't know new math.
i don't know what "^" means.

Chris James

March 7th? I might be in Memphis.

What goes on in Memphis, stays in Memphis!

Leslie Crow (Reid)

It seems there's something more to Memphis than Graceland and good BBQ.

02/25/09 02:09 PM #2005

Joanie Brown (Edwards)

yes, leslie, there is an = and I just now corrected it. you can see why I"m having problems. ^ means it's an exponent
x squared = x^2

CJ, I have a new ringtone for your number. It's 'crazy frog gone to india'. so fitting!

02/25/09 02:12 PM #2006

Joanie Brown (Edwards)

we even consulted an online math site and they got x=2 so we're going with that answer.

02/25/09 02:14 PM #2007

Joanie Brown (Edwards)

Julie? You didn't give up alcohol for lent? I gave up sobriety.

02/25/09 03:22 PM #2008

Chris James

I thought about giving up Steel Reserve. I thought I might switch to PBR light. 4.99 a 12er.

02/25/09 03:44 PM #2009

Julie Stiglets (Reagle)

I (briefly) considered giving up alcohol, then I remembered that St. Patrick's Day is coming up, and I'm going for a girls' weekend in Eureka Springs over Spring Break, so NO, I am not giving up alcohol. I also gave up baked goods, so no Girl Scout cookies for me!

02/25/09 06:11 PM #2010

Pam Humphrey (Beck)

Hey Joanie, I am bringing my two girls to live with you. Brennan got a speeding ticket yesterday and had a wreck today. Kayli got two speeding tickets in the last month and hit the basketball goal in the driveway (again!) with her car. Good thing I didn't give up alchohol for Lent!!! I am giving up my children.

02/25/09 06:25 PM #2011

Joanie Brown (Edwards)

You can give up kids for Lent??? Why haven't I known about this???

Ok Pam, but you get Scott. It cost $871 to get him out of jail yesterday (stopped for no seat belt, I think that's his 20th one)since he was behind in his court payments. I'll come out ahead in this trade.

02/25/09 06:30 PM #2012

Kenny Boling

Hey look.
It's Pam!!!

CJ,
I heard Quick Trip was bringing Quittin' Time back.

02/25/09 07:04 PM #2013

Chris James
