MUSKOGEE - A Muskogee man injured in a motorcycle wreck in Muskogee County has died, but authorities are unsure of his exact cause of death, the Oklahoma Highway Patrol said Sunday.
David Wayne Baude, 40, was driving a motorcycle about 4 p.m. Saturday east on Hancock Road when he failed to negotiate a curve and lost control a mile east of Muskogee. He was taken to the Muskogee Regional Medical Center where he was treated for minor injuries, the patrol said.
Baude died about 2:30 a.m. Sunday from unknown reasons at the hospital, the patrol said.
A hospital spokeswoman said she could not comment on the death, but said Baude's body had been taken to the state medical examiner's office for an autopsy.

David Wayne Baude was a very special person in my life. I hung out with Davy in that 1965 green truck. He was truly a person that was "mis-understood" He was one of the sweetest men I have ever known to this day! I married Davy's brother, Jimmy Baude in 1980. We were only married for a couple of years but this time was not in vain...we learned a lot from each other and from the friends we hung out with. we were young and searching our way through this life! Kristi Baude Potts is Jimmy's daughter and has been a very special part of my life since she was born. I miss Davy very much and think of him often. If you did not know Davy, you missed out, you really missed out.........
