On March 2, 1961, two beautiful,  twin boys were born to Harold Sr., and Katherine [Doss] Cherry,  the youngest, which was named Ronald.  Ronald received his formal education in the Muskogee Public School system, graduating from Muskogee High School with the Class of 1979.  After graduation, Ronald joined the National Guard.  He earned several commendations while serving and was honorably dischard in 1982.

Ronald married his best friend, Renetta Crutchfield on July 2, 1988 and this union was blessed with two children.  The marriage dissolved after 19 years, however, Ronald and Renetta remained good friends.
