Trushelia Mae Million

August 8, 1960 - May 6, 2018

Trushelia Mae Duvall (Hibbs) Million, age 57, from Muskogee passed away May 6, 2018. Shelia was born August 8, 1960 in Muskogee. She attended Warner Schools and has resided in Muskogee all of her life. Shelia began working at the early age of 17 at the Holiday Inn in Muskogee with her mother Evelyn. Being raised with Roy Duvall as her step father, Shelia quickly found her love for horses and started showing an interest in barrel racing. Shelia and Jamie attended many rodeos together and she was always her baby brothers biggest fan. She was the Checotah Rodeo Queen in early 1970's. In 1980, Shelia married her long time friend Wilbur "Buddy" Million. As a young adult Shelia always looked forward to visiting the nursing homes and visiting children with her father George as he played Santa Clause. In 1990 Shelia began working for WISH, and soon became the WISH Shelter Director through 1994. She was a member of the Indian Capital Chapter of American Business Womens Association and Muskogee County Democrats Womens Club. She also owned and operated the Antique Store with partner Rita Ballinger in the late 90's. Shelia worked along side her mother at the Whitlock Wishouse from 2006-2010. Shelia had a heart of gold and would do anything for anyone without even asking. She never met a stranger and she left an impact on anyone she met with her kindness, compassion and genuine love she gave. Shelia is preceded in death by her husband Wilbur "Buddy" Million in 2004; companion Danny Henderson in 2007; grandparents Flossie and Charley Morris; 6 uncles, Wayne Tallon, Buddy Morris, Bruce Morris, Everett Murray, Clarence McMahan, Charles Boyd; 3 aunts, Nadine Boyd, Mildred McMahan, Betty Morris; paternal God mother Sue Stuessy; cousin Larry Casteel. Shelia leaves behind to cherish her memories, her companion and best friend Keith Hollingshed of the home; mother Evelyn Hibbs of Muskogee; father George Hibbs of Louisiana; step father Roy Duvall of Checotah; brother Jamie Hibbs & wife Angela of Choctaw; niece Fallon Hibbs of Kansas; nephew Jared Million of Texas; nephew Tyler Hibbs of Muskogee; aunt Betty Tallon of Warner and aunt Mary Gilbert of Muskogee; uncle Herman Capps; 2 stepsisters, Nichole Beam & husband Craig and Tonya Unseld all of Kentucky; numerous cousins, extended family and a host of friends. Memorial Services will be 2:00 pm Tuesday, May 15, 2018 at Timothy Baptist Church in Muskogee with Pastors Kelly Payne and Cordell Coppin officiating. Arrangements are under the direction of Hibbs Funeral Home.
