Timothy C. "Tim" Innis, 58, of Wagoner, Oklahoma passed Thursday, February 20, 2020. He was born on May 12, 1961 to Leroy D. Innis and Betty Jo (Pilkington) Innis in Muskogee, Oklahoma. He attended Muskogee High School, Class of 1979 and Tulsa Community College receiving his Associates Degree in 2007. On July 24, 1992 he married Martha (Wofford) Innis in Eureka Springs, Arkansas. They spent over 28 memorable years together.
Tim enjoyed motorcycle riding and hunting. He was also a life member of the DAV and VFW and the American Legion. Tim worked as a biomedical technician at the VA Medical Center in Oklahoma City for many years, he retired in 2017. He also worked at Coburn Optical. Tim served in the United States Navy as Petty Officer Second Class. He also served as a Staff Sergeant in the Air National Guard.
Tim was preceded in death by his grandparents, Charles Elver Innis, Anna Easter Jordan Innis, James Byron Fountain Pilkington, Nancy Minni Ridge Pilkington; father, Leroy Daniel Innis; sister-in-law, Donna Innis.
He is survived by his mother, Betty Jo (Pilkington) Innis of Muskogee; wife, Martha Renae (Wofford) Innis; brother Danny Joe Innis and wife Tearsa of Muskogee; nephew, Charles Andrew Innis and wife Jennifer of Wichita Falls, TX and their children Jaden Innis, James Innis, Carson Innis, and Charles Timothy Innis, nephew, Phillip Michael Innis and wife Rebecca of OKC, nieces, Faith Innis of OKC, Melissa Smith of Bixby, Tiffany Smith of Checotah, and nephews Levi Smith of Tulsa, and Bo Mullins of Oktaha; along with many other nieces, nephews, other family members and many friends.
The family will receive friends from 5:30-7PM, Wednesday, February 26, 2020 at Cornerstone Funeral Home.
A celebration of Tim's life will be 12:00pm Thursday, February 27, 2020 at York Street Christian Church with Reverend Mark Pointer and Reverend Art Remington officiating. Interment will follow at Fort Gibson National Cemetery with Ricky McFarland, M.D. Gibson, Tim Landry, Johnny Huggins, Sr., Jeff Phillips, and Kendell Cook serving as Pallbearers. Honorary Pallbearers will be Charles Innis, Phillip Innis, Levi Smith, Bo Mullins, Danny Innis, and Paul Wofford.
