Rusti Ann Shields, 48, of Coweta, Oklahoma, died Tuesday May 12, 2009. She was born March 10, 1961 to Bobbie and Carol (Forbes) Maxey in Enid, Oklahoma. Rusti moved with her family to Muskogee where she graduated from high school. Rusti loved spending time with her family and especially her granddaughter, Averi. She also had a great fondness for dogs.Rusti was preceded in death by her mother, Carol Neal and twin sister, Randi Jo Rosson. She is survived by her daughter and son-in-law, Jami and Chas Spradlin and their daughter, Averi, of Coweta; two sons Matt Cornett of Denver, Colorado and Zach Shields of Muskogee; parents, Bob and Sharon Maxey of Muskogee; brother and sister-in-law, Robby and Anita Maxey ofBakersfield, CA; sisters and brothers-in-law, Becky and Rene Eggers of Covington, OK, Ronda and Jon Carter and Renee and Chris Scott, all of Enid, OK; brother-in-law, John Rosson of Muskogee; one step-sister, one step brother, one half-sister and numerous nieces and nephews.Funeral services will be 11:00 a.m. Thursday at Greenhill Cemetery. Pallbearers will be Chas Spradlin, John Rosson, Sr., John Rosson, Jr., Heath Roberts, Seth Smith and Jon Carter. Honorary pallbearers are Chris Scott, Rene Eggers, Wayne Adcock and Doug Lane.Funeral service arrangements are under the direction of Foster-Petering Funeral Home.
