Eddie Maxwell, 45, of Fort Smith, Arkansas, entered into rest, Monday, January 21, 2008 in a Fort Smith hospital. He was born March 12, 1962 in Poteau, Oklahoma, the son of the late, Lester and Earlean Maxwell. He was an employee of Graphic Packaging and of the Baptist faith. Survivors include his wife, Janece; son, Cody Wayne Maxwell of the U.S. Marines of San Diego, California; two step sons; Marcus Phillips of Van Buren and Ethan Phillips of Fort Smith; mother in law; Chris Place of Fort Smith; three brothers; Billie Maxwell and wife Pauline of Pocola, Robert Maxwell and wife Goldie of Roland, Richard Maxwell and wife Judy of Arkoma; five sisters; Carolyn Wooten and husband Bill of Vinton, Barbara Murphy and husband Bob of Fort Smith; Priscillia Sebo and husband Curtis of Pocola, Nancy Murphy and husband Larry of Tulsa and Janet Flota and husband George of Fayetteville. Funeral service will be held 2:00 p.m. Thursday, January 24, 2008 at Lewis Funeral Chapel with interment at Woodlawn Memorial Park. Pallbearers will be Robert Don Maxwell, Billy Joe Maxwell, Curtis Sebo, Chris Sebo and Daniel Murphy, Dewayne Maxwell, Jonathan Maxwell and Shelby Maxwell.
