Kara Lyn Davis was born September 22, 1961 in Muskogee, OK, to Billie Scroggins and the late Jack Scroggins. She passed from this life on July 24, 2020 at her home. Kara graduated from Muskogee High School in 1979. She was a dedicated individual who was passionate about her career, devoting 32 years to Greenleaf Nursery. Kara found beauty in all things and loved freely. Her joy was found in the outdoors appreciating all of natures beauty. You could always find Kara picking fresh flowers from around the house and enjoying the stars and skies above.  On October 29, 1982 she married Terry Davis and together they had many adventures. They had a daughter, Evan, who was the center of their lives and their most prized accomplishment. Kara cherished her time with her grandchildren, Chloee and Cason. She loved spending time with them, playing board games and tinkering with projects. She was immensely proud of her family, and leaves behind many beautiful memories.

Kara was preceded in death by her father, Jack Scroggins.

Kara is survived by her husband of 38 years, Terry Davis, of Park Hill; daughter Evan Barnes and husband Colton and grandchildren Chloee and Cason Barnes, all of Qualls, OK; mother Billie Scroggins formerly of Muskogee; brother Craig Scroggins and wife Chris of Muskogee, OK; and many other relatives, friends and loved ones.
