Robert was one of my best friends throughout my entire life here in Muskogee. I knew his whole family and his mom still treats me like a son. He was one of those people you think of when you think of home. Gerri and I were crushed to loose such a good friend so early in life. Robert worked all over the country and no matter where he was he still remembered to call me just to say he was thinking of me. Through some of my worst times in life Robert was there lifting me up and encouraging me to be strong. Sometimes all I wanted was to be like him and I'm grateful I had the chance to know him like I did. Robert had the ability to make you laugh so hard that your side hurt and your face got tired of smiling. I know that where he is now there's alot of smiling and laughter going on.
