David and I shared English class with Ms Miller in the 10th grade. I remember one very cold day, she was writing on the chalkboard and David opened a window. She asked who opened it and he said he had. She asked him to please shut the window. He slammed the window down, all the glass broke and it was freezing in the classroom for the rest of the day. I forget how many of us were sent to the principal’s office for our trouble making schemes in Ms Miller’s English class.
