Yes! Attending Reunion

I married Wilburn Christian 46 years ago and have been busy raising a beautiful family. We spend our spare time traveling with family and friends, mostly on horseback. We have taken our horses and traveling partner, Rocky (our Aussie) to Mt. Rushmore, the Cumberland Mts. of Tennessee and to Cedar Lake, Oklahoma. This spring we will ride the mules to Phantom Ranch at the bottom of Grand Canyon. Will and I have been blessed beyond our wildest expectations. When we started out young, broke and stupid we never expected the wonderful ride of our life to be so fulfilling. Our Lord and Savior, Jesus Christ gets all the glory. Life doesn't get any better than this.

School Story:

I was a really shy girl and the day I got called into Ms. McDougald's office I was totally mortified. We were required to have our test paper signed by our parent. She accused me of having someone other than my Mom sigh the test. She had signatures, on all our parents, on file and she compared them...Well, I cried all the way over to Mother's office, on campus, and told her. Mother was ambidextrous and had signed her name with her left hand. I lucked out on that one!!! I was scared of my teachers, unlike kids now days...boy have times changed.

I was in the band with Rita for years. Then one day I got to switch from clarinet to bass clarinet. I sat right next to her and really came to love this precious lady. She was always so helpful and a fun person to be around. I will always remember Rita having a quick smile and sweet personality. You are missed!
