School Story:
Mrs. Reed, who taught us all Junior English, and grammar, was someone who terrified me! What a strong woman! How she put up with us! wow!
She told me in the hallway, after graduation, that she had always had nightmares just before school started each year, that she would not be able to control her classes! Imagine that! Anyway, she said that she had dreamed that I, little terrified Debbie, had stood up in class and challenged her and refused to do what I was told, and she woke up in a cold sweat! We both laughed, and I thanked her for getting me through freshman English at SFA! Without her I would have failed for sure!
