Our son Cam riding 'his' horse Pepper at the Walk a Mile for a Special Child in Tyler April 2010. Cam had a stroke at age 5 and is now 29 years old. He continues to amaze us with his strength, good humor, and ability to overcome adversity. He rides Pepper every week as part of a wonderful Therapeutic Riding/Physical Therapy Program.

With our son Cole at a Robert E Lee HS basketball game. He was their manager. His coach was Alan Johnston, whose dad was Johnny Johnston from NHS! Cole was born with a rare metabolic condition (only 22 cases known) and also faces many challenges. But he has met them head on and we are proud of him. He loves basketball, works full time, and volunteers for Boys and Girls Clubs and the E TX Food Bank when he isn't working.
