Jon passed away 8/13/2014. Private family service is being arranged. If you would like to send Linda a note, you can find her email in our book or on here. Contact me if you need an address. (sbierman) Love and prayers go to the Dobbs family.
Sharlene and my prayers are with you and your family at this special time.
Jim Frisk called to let me know the news before I received this email note. Jim told me that Ted K. was there for him during these last weeks, they sure were special friends. I also understand you are fighting another battle yourself, your needs will be in our prayers also.
Jon, Jim and I had a lot of great fun together especially at Lone Star School then at JrHS & HS. He left many wonderful memories for us all.
If we can do anything please do not hesitate to ask.
Gay and I were so saddened to hear of Jon's passing. I have nothing but great memories of all the years I have known Jon. As I was reading the obituary in the Press Tribune, I was reminded of the impact Jon had on the community of Nampa. I can't think of anyone in our class who has done more for Nampa. Whether it was buying a car from him, seeing him at the rodeo or just casually running into him, it was always apparent that he was glad to see you. We need more people like Jon. Linda, our prayers are with you and your family.
Linda, my thoughts go out to you and your family at this time with the passing of Jon, even though I was not close with the two of you I do feel like part of the group now. I know you have your own struggles, I wish the best for you. Nick
If is with deep sorrow that I learned of the passing of Jon Dobbs. Jon & Linda were a part of our growing up together in Nampa, ID. I have many fond memories of Jon and wish to send my condolences to Linda & the entire Family. Jon, May you Rest In Etertal Peace and May the Dobbs Family find the Solace and Understanding to Heal their Grief. God Bless and Keep You in Your Time of Need.

My post did not go thru. We will attempt to resend. Again, deepest condolences to the Dobbs Family.
I have many wonderful memories of Jon Dobbs from High School. Heaven just received a good friend, one heck of a football player and track star, and a man that stood tall among our classmates. My heart aches for Linda and family. He will be sorely missed but his legacy will live forever. Blessings to Linda and I will see you on the other side Brother!
