Helene was the girlfriend and wife of my best friend Bruce and I knew her well. Her love for Bruce and later, their children Maria and Lisanne, was unparalleled and she was very intelligent with a unique sense of humor. My favorite memories of her were during the early seventies while she was attending Lone Mountain College and living in Pacific Heights. Her flat on Jackson Street was home base for many adventurous times and countless memories filled with laughter and a great sense of freedom. I will remember Helene as a close, trusted friend and someone who brought out the best in those in her presence. My condolences to her family and many friends.
Larry was one of my best friends at Redwood Junior High. We ran track together (he was FAST!) and he was always upbeat and quick with a smile or a quip that would bring a laugh. He seemed destined to live a good live, based on his kind nature. I'm so glad he achieved happiness with family and career. The world is a better place because of Larry and his contributions.
