What's New
We had nicknames for good friends. Robert's was Sea Dog...mainly for his love of ships and his father being a Captain in the Navy. I was close friends with Robert throughout various times of being together and drifting apart and then back together again. He had an encyclopedic knowledge of ships and tanks that led him to work in what I thought was his dream job--for a company that made tanks. He was an example of how a passion for knowledge that started as a hobby could result in being chosen for a job where he excelled over college-trained engineers. I still think about him and am saddened by his passing.

I too had known Brad since Ridgeview. Always a concerned friend, anxious to help out withv projects to better the community.
It is times like this that we are sorry that we haven't stayed in touch with people. The reunions provided that renewal and maybe there can be one in 2026. 60th!
I am sorry that I will miss the memorial as I am already going to one in Oakland at the same time.

Sad to hear of this news. Dave, Gary, and Leo used to hang out at Ridgeveiw and at HS.
I'm so sorry to hear of Lynne's passing. We knew each other from elementary school and lived fairly close. We attended Snow School together and worked on extra-credit assignments in order to try to win one of Mr. Nelson's war momentos. I think she was always one step ahead of me. I remember spending time at her house as a kid. Over the years, our paths crossed a few times. She was a good person and had a good heart. My deepest sympathy to her loved ones.
Happy belated birthday Pat! Hope it was great!

I posted these to Facebook long ago and resisted putting them on this page because it wasn’t Napa High. I’ve rethought that reasoning and I’m putting it here because we all ended up at Napa High, and maybe some of you will recognize yourselves or a friend and enjoy the memories.
