I posted these to Facebook long ago and resisted putting them on this page because it wasn’t Napa High. I’ve rethought that reasoning and I’m putting it here because we all ended up at Napa High, and maybe some of you will recognize yourselves or a friend and enjoy the memories.
Redwood Marching Band at the Vets Home, Santa Rosa and Dixon.
First met Bill in the second grade at Pueblo Vista Elementary. We were the best of friends from that time on.
We were fishing and hunting buddies and explorers of the outdoor areas around Napa. Taught me to ride on his Honda 150 Dream back in junior high. He would give you the shirt off his back. I dinged up his brand new Bultaco dirt bike and he just shrugged it off, saying, that happens riding dirt. One of a kind nice guy. I think of him often especially when I cross the Southern Crossing bridge where he lost his life.
Rest In Peace my friend.
Rest in peace Karen. I remember when Mike Williamson (Big Mike) and I came to your house to play. We coasted down the hill in a wagon and had a great time, as young kids do. My Pueblo Vista Elementary School friends will always have a special place in my heart. I'll see you later and bring my own wagon. You can pick the best hill.
