When traveling out of State for more than a week, I was able to spend my weekends exploring the cities I was working in. They included Boston (including the Cheers Bar, Old Ironsides, Salem, Boston Harbor, Boston Commons, Lexington, Concord, walked the Liberty Trail), Long Island, New York (Manhattan), Washington DC (museums and monuments), Princeton, Wilmington, Philadelphia (Independence Hall, Liberty Bell, Benjamin Franklin's 1st US Post Office, Reading RR Station), Lancaster (Amish), Pittsburg, Charlotte, Greensboro, Raleigh, Atlanta, Orlando, Biloxi (Air Force during Hurrican Camille), New Orleans, Houston, Dallas, Fort Worth, San Antonio, Chicago, St. Louis, Memphis, St. Paul, Minneapolis, Billings, Logan (Utah State as a Freshman), Salt Lake, Las Vegas, Seattle, Portland, and practically everywhere in between via Amtrak or driving. Been to Mt. Rushmore, the Smokies, Graceland, Denver, and all through the Rockies from New Mexico to Montana, including Yellowstone.

Graduated from Sonoma State. Served four years in the Air Force. Worked in three CPA firms as an accountant. Was Chief of Accounting and Human Resources for a major commercial heating manufacturer. Was Supervising Accountant for the Sacramento Area Economic Opportunity Council. Then General Auditor for the State of California where I traveled throughout the 48 contiguous states for 30 years auditing major pesticide chemical companies to ensure compliance with California's strict laws and regulations regarding pesticides. Also, conducted annually mandated internal financial management audits of the Department and industry investigations. Was a Certified Government Financial Manager and was a member of the Institute of Internal Auditors. I was very fortunate and blessed to have the finest co-workers and supervisors possible, all BFF's! And, God Bless the Class of '66 and all my friends!!!

I remember when Fred Coggins and I went to the Napa Fair Grounds Auditorium and saw Ike and Tina Turner, the Isley Brothers, and Chuck Berry, and danced with chicks while they played the music live, and the cost was $3.00 a ticket!

Also, took Lucretia Hammond to the Rolling Stones concert on Mick Jaggers 21st Birthday at the Cow Palace in San Francisco, 4 hours of listening to the Sopwith Camel, the McCoys (Gloria), the Jefferson Airplane and then every Rolling Stones song upto and including Satisfaction! What a memory and we were only about a hundred feet from the front of the Stage. Mick was in a white tee shirt, white pegged levis and tennis shoes, just like we all dressed at Napa High. LOL
