Lived and worked in Napa for several years before moving to Fairfield following Dave's job. Then we moved on to five acres in Wilton, CA. where we still live.

I've been lucky enough to work at a variety of different jobs over the years. I was a Title Officer for various title companies in both Napa and Fairfield. I then started driving truck for Ranger Transportation, pulling a 57 foot roller van out of Sonoco in Benicia, mostly to jobs in Bakersfield and several locations in between. From there I started working as the office manager for George Vice Electric in Elk Grove. I loved this job since it was only minutes from my home and I worked in a huge old hops barn on 40 acres. Quite a few holes in the walls, but the pellet stove kept it warm in the winter. Only difficulty was keeping the barn owls, cotton tails, raccoons, wild turkeys, etc. out of the office. I never knew what I would find when I opened the door in the morning.

When George passed away in his sleep at the age of 65, I then started working for Pacific Municipal Consultants in Sacramento as a financial assistant. PMC was a consulting firm for various Cities, Counties and Municipalities helping with environmental, housing, and mapping needs using the professionals we had on staff. We also had several jobs in the Bahamas, but I could never convince them to relocate the financial department to Jamaica. Darn :-).
I worked with PMC for close to 7 years, till the economy finally caught up with us last August, when over half the company was laid off.

I'm now working on various projects around the property and staying busy with my kids and grandkids. We now have two grandbabies, Layla and Olivia who I babysit as often as possible
