Barbara Glantz (Betts)

Barbara Glantz (Betts)

Barbara Betts, 67, passed into glory to be with her lord and savior Jesus Christ on Feb. 14, 2014. Barbara graduated from Napa High School in 1964. She was diagnosed with multiple sclerosis in 1969, but she never let it defeat her. While in a wheelchair, she led a Brownie troop and taught Sunday school. She was liked by all who met her and always had a warm smile and loving personality.

She passed away quickly from respiratory failure. Barbara is survived by her husband, Terry Betts; mother, Donna Glantz; brothers and sisters, David Glantz, Daniel Glantz and Linda (Glantz) Sweet; her children and daughter-in-law, Wendy Betts, Brian Betts and Lisa Simpson; and her grandchildren, Brylee and Sophia Betts.

The family requests memorial contributions be made to the National Multiple Sclerosis Society at bit.ly/1dI1neX.

A celebration of life will be held at 2 p.m. Saturday, March 1, at the Alliance Bible Church, 4174 S.E. Bentley St., Hillsboro, Ore. Arrangements by Springer and Son.
