I was able to spend Dottie's last birthday with her at her beautiful ranch in Corning, Ca. That was July 12, 2006. What a wonderful day. Sadly Dottie passed away about a month later from complications of heart bypass surgery. I do not remember the exact date.
Dot and I met in H.S. and we did a lot of horseback riding together throughout Napa and Lake County. I saw her at her ranch for her 60th birthday bash and spoke with her a week before she passed. Forty seven years ago this May, she introduced me to my husband, Fred Fields.
