NAPA - William Arthur Kinsinger, 62, passed away Sept. 21, 2009, due to complications from multiple sclerosis and throat cancer. He was born Nov. 18, 1946, in Vallejo, to William Forrest Kinsinger and Fern Lavora Kinsinger, and graduated from Vallejo High School in 1964. He worked at Mare Island Shipyard as a submarine architect technician before joining the Army in 1966. He was honorably discharged in 1968 after serving in Germany during his time in the Army. He married Lisa St. Amedee in 2004.
William is survived by his wife, Lisa; children Kristine Kinsinger and Timothy Manning; and stepson Brian Surprise. He is preceded in death by his mother, Fern.
Veteran memorial services will be held January 2010 in Dixon.
