I was saddened to see the passing of Ray. He was stationed at Fort Bragg North Carolina in 1967.My fiance at the time was also stationed there. Darrel never attended Napa High. So to my surprise, and 3,000 miles away, they became friends. Ray was Darrels best man at our wedding at the Court House in North Carolina. I remember him fondly as a sweet and caring guy. When Darrel passed away in Vietnam, Ray was there for me. I wish I had been in contact with him all these years. Unfortunately we lost contact with each other. I'm happy he went on to have a lovely family. I will always remember his kindness and beautiful smile. RIP
