I remember Connie as an attractive & very nice person but most of all as an outstanding athlete at a time when females had few opportunities in that arena. I'm truly sorry she's gone.
I first saw Connie at Kiwanis Ballpark playing fastpitch softball and she was the best player on the field for many years and elected by her peers as the Softball Queen. She had that kind of athletic ability through our years at Napa High. I have many fond memories of Connie as I am married to her sister Cindy. Connie always had a smile on her face and created much laughter and good times with family and friends. Connie passed away way too early in her life and is sorely missed but will never be forgotten.
