Cathy was living in Vallejo and working at Chevron in Richmond at the time. She thought she had pulled a muscle in her back but as we went through the process at Kaiser it was diagnosed as breast cancer that had already gone to the bone. We found out in August of 1993 and when she got really bad I brought her to my home where she passed on January 20, 1994 at the age of 47. She was a quiet thoughtful, steadfast, tender-hearted woman. I have missed her greatly in the passing years.
