Went to school with Patty from grade school through Senior High.  Very warm person and fun to be around.

Another shocker; especially to see that she's been gone so long.  Pat was one of our cheerleaders at Ridgeview.  A very pretty, sweet & quiet girl (except when leading cheers), I knew her from seventh grade on.  One of the nicest people in school.

I remember ( Patsy ) , that's what we used to call her when we were kids at napa junction elementary school. We rode the school bus together everyday to ridgeview, then to napa high. She was a sweet girl. Also, I remember her big dimples. Gone too soon . Miss you !

Patsy was always smiling and another of our Ridgeview crowd.   Sweet and always friendly.  We miss you Patsy.

That's right Leida it was "Patsy". How could I forget that? I do remember when Patsy stepped on the school bus in uniform, it caused quite a stir. there were quite a few atheletes from american canyon, but a cheerleader was a rarity. Claudette Edmond is the only other one I can think of. "Patsy" was a sweet girl. does anyone know what happened?

Yes, Patsy's death was way too early in life.  When she and I were Pom-Pom together at Ridgeview we became good friends. Later I became best friends with her older sister Roianna at work.  The family had lost their mother at a young age as I had (at 16), so it was an unfortunate bond.  The girls lived in fear of their mother's cancer diagnosis.  Patsy died in Colville, Washington from ovarian cancer.  Roianna later died in Lebanon, Oregon  of breast cancer (1997).  Their sister Betty still lives in Vallejo, a survivor of breast cancer.  Roianna's daughter Traci still visits us every holiday season from Seattle.  This was a wonderful family that lost too much, too soon.

Patsy was a great gal.  I've known her since the 4th grade at Napa Junction.  I remember some of the dances she had in her garage when we were in the 6th grade.
