Hello

I received your email inquiring about the YouTube demonstration.  On the Home Page of the Class Creator there is a message I posted.  Part of that message contains the link to YouTube.  Here's the excerpt from the home page:

.............................................................

Here is the link to a demonstration slide show composed of photographs from 1965 (many from Walt Mickolajcik):

...................................................

If you highlight the link above, copy and paste to your browser, it will take you to the YouTube demonstration.  I checked the link just now and it is working quite well.  Turn up your volume.

I could use your help.  Our gift to the reunion, to the class, is a much longer musical slide show composed of images chosen by classmates.  They do not have to be yearbook pictures, or people pictures.  Any picture that evokes memories and good feelings will work.  We will underpin the show with music from the period (64 - 65).  Yesterday, used in the demo, is an example.  I recorded and edited it for the demo.  Walt and I can come up with enough music to cover any number of photos.  I will do the editing and posting.  Again, it's my gift.

Let me know if you have any questions at napahighclassof65@gmail.com

From the Georgetown Gazette, July 31:  A very special service is planned for Bobby Jiles, known for his big heart and community service, will be intered and remembered this weekend Sat. Aug. 2, at newly installed columbarium in the Georgetown Pioneer Cemetery.  A Marine Corps Honor guard will be in attendance as will Native Sons of the Golden West, Georgetown Parlor.

I went to the memorial and counted over 100 attendees from a town of 972.  Bob was seen simply as a great guy.  Albee Gray came up from Napa with several old pictures from Bob's military days to display at the ceremony.  Bob was so special to this community that they waited until the cremation niche was completed to have Bob's remains be the first ever interned.  A big thank you to all who donated to Bob's funeral expenses which contributed to the constuction of the columbarium.

Is there a way or a place where we can talk as a group? I've been chatting with Cindy Dunn about the Napa earthquake, but am concerned about what other classmates and their families might have gone through too. Would this be the appropriate place for people to add their comments, rather than an individual conversation?
