Susan L Frattini (Kastan) VIEW PROFILE

Heaven gained the sweetest angel ever on August 13, 2014.  Sue was born June 8, 1947, in Napa to Walter and Eleanor Frattini.  She was a loving mother, sister, grandmother, aunt, mother-in-law, cousin and an incredible friend to all who entered her life.

Sue brought a brightness to so many people and will continue to guide those in need of light forever.  She graduated from Napa High in 1965 and worked at Mondavi Winery in Lodi and the Doctors Company in Napa, before moving to Meridian, Idaho where she worked for the state of Idaho.

Sue is survived by her sons, Jeff Atkins and Andrew Atkins; grandchildren, Ryan, Jessica, Aaron, and Hannah; sister Cathi Frattini, brother Larry Frattini (Andi); cousins Steve, Julie, Joan, Gary, Jim, Ken and Tom and special friend, the Chambless family.  She was preceded in death by her parents, and husband Jeff Kastan.

We will miss her smile, her laughter and sense of humor.  Rest in peace, Sue we'll miss you.

Sue was one of the few people to befriend me at St John's.  She was so sweet, and she taught me to dance to rock and role.  I've not seen her in a long, long time but still think of her often.

I am so saddened by the loss of Susan, especially finding out, unbeknownst to me, that she lived up the road from me in Boise.  Susan and I attended St. John's from 1st through 8th grade, and for most of our grade school years were the 2 shortest girls in the class, which meant we led all the processions, folk dance festivals and other events together.  I remember her as a sweet and kind girl who was bright and funny.  My sympathies to her family, I am sure you have an angel in heaven watching over you.
