Ted was born July 18, 1947 and died April 12, 1976. He served in the Marine Corp in Vietnam. His Marine Corp service started in 1966. Many years ago I was told that Ted suffered from PTSD that was never successfully treated. He took his own life in 1976. At Napa High Ted played on the football team and was a valuable team player. He always hustled and gave his best. I remember that he had the nerve to paint a small "Fighting Irish" decal on his helmet and got away with it. That was a bold move at the time. I was very sorry to learn of Ted's struggles after his Vietnam tour. You are missed, Ted!

I am sad to read of Ted's death. He served in VietNam at the same time my husband did. I'm so sorry that he suffered from the effects of that so much that he couldn't go on. Such a loss; I hope that he finally found peace.

Ted was a good friend. I too was greatly saddened to hear of his passing. I think of him often.

In 1966 Ted and I spent a lot of time 4-wheeling in my Jeep, He had plans to go into law enforcement and he started a club with a law enforcement star logo.  We put the logo on my Jeep doors and had sweatshirts made.  I noticed in the photo I posted with Ken and Bill from 1966 I am wearing one of the sweat shirts. Ted was wounded during the war and it affected his mobility so it drastically changed his law enforcement plans and added to his depression. Ted was a real fun person to be around and full of energy, I still think of him a lot, .
