Jack said it perfectly . I feel like part of me is gone he was such a good friend . We shared so many memories and adventures and Jeff never missed emailing me every day or we taked on the phone. He was so excited about being a Grandfather . He really saw the beauty in everything and everyone . Jeff you will be so missed.
Spud, I can't believe that you have passed on. Everything that Jack Price said so eloquently was spot on. Everything that Bill Simpson said about all of your serious ailments are true, especially that part of you never complaining about your discomfort or the pain you dealt with every day. What an example you set for us all. We have been friends since the summer of 1963 when we met at summer school. We took a U.S. History class to get it out of the way so that our Jr. year would be a little easier. Good idea. You were always a fun, thoughtful, considerate and loyal friend. I am so thankful that you were in my life. My journey would not have been as fun and exciting without you as an important part that journey. Rest in peace my old friend! Jim
Jack, Walt, Bill, Patricia, and Jim have all written soulful comments that I can only repeat. Tears came flowing again when I saw picture #9 because that's my dad in the background at the Jeff Green annual get together at my parents house. These memories are forever. Jack, your writting is amazing.
Jeff Green lived in my neighborhood during our early school days, and he became, and remained, good friends with my goofy (just kidding) twin brother, Doug.
If my memory serves, Jeff had a droll sense of humor, and a certain depth/quietude about him, uncommon among the male youth I knew then.
My condolences to his family, to Doug and all of you who lost such a beloved friend.
May Jeff L. Green's soul be bound up in the bonds of eternal life.
