Alyce passed away on April 11, 2021 from cancer at her home in Brentwood, CA with her husband, David, by her side.

I want to pay tribute t one of the kindest, loving and generous souls I have been blessed to have in my life.  Alyce (Norman) Thornton, my best friend of many years, lost her courageous fight with cancer on April 11, 2021.  Knowing her since my school days, I never heard her say an unkind word about anyone.  No matter her own battles, she was steadfast in her friendship and always thinking of others.  I miss her deeply, our conversation, her humor and her wise counsel.  Rest wll, my dear friend, and fly with the angels.
