Kenneth Wesley Clark

1949-2018

Kenneth Wesley Clark was born on April 11, 1949 in St. Helena. He passed away on Feb. 13, 2018 in Napa due to complications from a stroke which he suffered in 2007.  He attended the one room school house at Wooden Valley School. He graduated from Napa High in 1967. Kenneth grew up on the family ranch in Wooden Valley where he enjoyed farm life and especially like riding horses and driving the tractor. He loved prune season when he got to drive the truck full of prunes over the mountain to the Sunsweet Dehydrator in Napa. He was employed by Sunsweet Inc. in Napa and left Napa in the 1970s to work at Sunsweet in Yuba City for about 35 years. Kenneth loved hunting, riding motorcycles, shooting and his beloved dog, Bandit. In later years he found comfort listening to country music. Kenneth was preceded in death by his mother Harriet Clark and father Liburn Clark and brother Tom Clark. He is survived by his brother George Gilman Clark (Dawn), sister Ruth Moale (Pete), sister Charra Holden (Dean). Nephews, Brian, Jeffrey and Nate Clark, Loren Moale and nieces Tracy Hardee and Kristen Gregory. Sister in law Sharon Clark. He is survived by numerous grand nieces and nephews and cousins. Burial will be private at Monticello Cemetery at a later date. The family would particularly like to thank the loving, wonderful care he received at the Meadows Skilled Nursing facility in Napa. We would also like to thank the ministry from the Grace Church which comes to  the Meadows on Tuesday mornings.
