I am so sorry to see John's passing. He was one of my very first friends at Mt George Elementery school. John lived on Coombsville Road and I lived at the bottom of Fabiola drive and when we were old enough we would either walk or ride our bikes. Always remember him as a very happy friendly guy. John RIP
I was feeling a bit nostalgic the other day, and after searching on the web, found the Napa High School Class of 1967 page. I was so sorry to hear of John’s passing. John and I were very good friends from 9th grade at Silverado through High School. We spent our time as we grew up, riding our bikes around Coombsville Rd and the surrounding roads, then on my motorcycle and then in our cars. During the summer I would be at John’s house on Coombsville Rd nearly every day swimming in his pool. John and I worked together at the Chevron Gas Station at the corner of Lincoln Ave and Soscol Ave. After I entered the Air Force in 1969, I still kept in touch with John, but over the years my military assignments kept me overseas. The last time I saw John was in 1998 when I was at Travis AFB on a business trip and managed to track down a phone number for John. I called him and made it over to Napa to have dinner with John, his wife and son. John, rest in peace, you will not be forgotten.

I remember John from our years at Silverado. We had a classes together, and he was such friendly and kind classmate. Rest In Peace, John.
