Jodi BeMiller Adkins

After graduating from Bethel College, I got married in 1992 to Patrick W., a 1986 LaVille H.S./1990 Bethel College Grad. We proceeded to have a child every 5 years! Our lives revolve around our kids activities...both boys are in football, basketball, baseball, and Patrick was in track. Payton is 4 1/2 and anxiously awaiting her turn at anything with a ball. (Obviously the children got their athletic genes from their dad!)Although, surprisingly enough, I do have my own "athletic accomplishment" in which to take pride. I began running a few years back and I completed my first two marathons last year (yes...26.2 miles!). I am currently training for my next marathon in November. I know, very interesting coming from a girl who quit track after her freshman year! The only other major change in my life is leaving Wakarusa Missionary Church after 27 years to attend River Valley (by Penn H.S.). It was a difficult move, but it was best for our family. And that's my story...Almost forgot...I'm also the FCA (Fellowship of Christian Athletes) sponsor at Penn....the closest thing I'll ever be to a "coach"! I remember attending that group at NorthWood on Thursday mornings with Terry Johns as our sponsor...but we just started one at Penn for the first time 2 years ago. What an area for God to work!
