OBITUARYSERVICE DETAILS
Gary Allen Adams, a resident of Morgan City, LA, passed away on December 17, 2018, at the age of 76.
Gary was an avid fisherman, hunter (member of the Nickens Lake Hunting Club), and LSU and Saints football fan. He was a veteran of the United States Navy and a retired engineer from Jacobs Engineering. Gary was a loving husband and devoted father who was a hard-working man of integrity. He enjoyed traveling and taking the scenic route to visit family and friends.
Gary is survived by his wife JoAnn Vincent Adams; his daughters, Sonya Kay Adams Hebert and husband Cory, and Crystal Lynn Adams Guidry and husband David; his stepson, Ben Michael Gioele and wife Diane; and his sister, Barbara Ann Jordan and husband Don. Further survived by nieces, nephews, and other relatives and friends.
He is preceded in death by his first wife, Mary Ann Estay Adams; his brother, Richard Paul Adams; and his mother, Eunice Ann Rogers Strickland.
Visitation will be at Resthaven Gardens of Memory, 11817 Jefferson Hwy, Baton Rouge, LA, on Friday, December 21, 2018, from 5:00 pm until 7:00 pm. Visitation will continue on Saturday, December 22, 2018 from 9:00 am until services at 11:00 am. Burial will follow at Resthaven Gardens of Memory.
Pallbearers will be Cory Hebert, David Guidry, Ben Gioele, Jeff Reid, Stewart Lee, and Jerry Panepinto. Honorary pallbearer will be Larry Merritt.
