Funeral services for Janet Ainsworth will be held at 2:00 pm on Monday, April 7, 2014 at Blanchard - St. Denis Funeral Home in Natchitoches, LA with Rev. Thomas Rush officiating. Interment will follow at Memory Lawn Cemetery in Natchitoches, LA. The family will receive friends from 12:00 pm until 2:00 pm on April 7, 2014 at Blanchard - St. Denis Funeral Home in Natchitoches, LA.

Janet Ainsworth, 73 years of age, passed away April 4, 2014. Janet was born October 7, 1940 to the late Willie  Ainsworth and Rubydean  Hicks Ainsworth in Natchitoches, LA.  She was a loving and caring person that loved to laugh and sing. She worked for many, many years at Nichols in Natchitoches before she retires. She enjoyed talking and spending time with her family and friends. She loved her nieces and nephews dearly, and will be missed by all who knew her.

She is survived by her sister, Betty Lou Gilcrease and husband James of Campti, LA; her brother, Eugene Ainsworth and wife Janice of Melrose, LA; and numerous nieces and nephews.

She was preceded in death by her parents, Willie Ainsworth and Rubydean Hicks Ainsworth; and one sister, Jo Ann Scales.
