Found Roy's widow, Mary Ann Cadenhead of Haynesville, LA at 921 Hwy 167, Dry Prong, LA  71423-3953.  Visited with her and learned the following:

Roy was born 9 Mar 1941 and died in Alexandria, LA of a heart attack on 17 July 2005.  He is buried in the Fairfield Cemetery in Grant Parish, La.

They have five children, one is deceased, seven grandchildren and 6 great grandchildren.

Roy worked at Dresser Industries, Pineville, LA as a valve specialist.

She said Roy served in the Louisiana Army National Guard.

Roy R. Finch

Services for roy R. Finch will be at 2 p.m. Tuesday, July 19, 2005, at Fairfield dUnited Pentecostal Church in Dry Prong, Louisiana with the Rev. Elmer Mundy and Brother Kenneth Hyde officiating under the direction of Magnolia Funeral Home of Alexandria.  Interment will be at Fairfield Cemetery, Dry Prong, Louisiana.  Visitation will be from 5 p.m. Monday, July 18, 2005 until the time of service on Tuesday at Fairfield United Pentecostal Church, Dry Prong.

Survivors include wife, Maryanne Finch; 2 sons, David and James; 2 daughters, Cynthia and Michelle; 7 grandchildren and 4 great grandchildren.

(NOTE: Roy's grave is at the foot of the grave that has a statue of a white horse on it.)
