Willie Dell Roberts Weaver

I married in August 1962 and moved to Donna, TX. I worked in the Donna ISD as a substitute teacher before becoming a teacher's aide when Brenda started to Kindergarten. We moved back to LA in 1977 and I began working as a teacher's aide in the Vernon Parish School System; then became a school secretary until March 1988. I began working as a legislative assistant to then the newly elected State Representative John Smith in March 1988 (now a state senator) and have remained in that position until this time.
