I married Troy Holbrook in 1981 (those from Hemphill will remember him). We moved to South Dakota, where we lived for 11 years. My husband was serving in the Air Force for 20 years. We had 3 kids while in South Dakota and then we moved to Missouri, so he could work on the B-2 Bomber. We've lived in Missouri for 17 years. We own 25 acres here with a couple houses on it. I started going to college at EKU before I got married. In South Dakota I went to Black Hills State University and then quit school in my junior year and forgot about pursuing school for over twenty years. In 2006 I decided to finally go back and finish my degree. I am 12 college hours from finishing. On December of this year I will finally graduate with a Bachelors Degree in Secondary English Teaching!! I just want to encourage any of you who think it's too late that it's never too late. I am actually a better student now than I ever was. I guess that's it. I look forward to hearing from all of you.
School Story

I guess some of my favorite memories are from our senior trip. We got to go to Washington DC and New York. We had a blast!

My husband Troy. He is a professor at the State Fair Community College in Sedalia, Missouri. He is the Director of the Automotive Technology Department of the college. He loves his job and is a great teacher.

This is a picture of my husband and me sitting in a swing in our back yard. It is absolutely beautiful. I don't know if you can tell from the picture, but the swing is hanging from a huge oak tree and overlooking a large pond.
