James Stephen Quillen

Graduated from Morehead State University in 1985. Was with the Navy from 1986 to 1996 installing computer systems at Naval Hospitals & Shipyards all around the country. After leaving Navy in 1996, became an Oracle Database Administrator for the Federal Financing Bank until 2004. Currently a CACI Oracle Specialist in the Comptroller Office of the Department of Defense.

9)The first two students that 'showed' we were all growing up was Ona Lee Vanover and Roger Cuddy in sixth grade
10)Started in Marching Band in the 7th grade, always had to ask people what Mr. Bastolla just said.
11)Mark Miracle's glasses that seemed to be half an inch thick and how much of difference it made when he got contacts
12)Mr. Honeycutt's German Class
13)William Tucker (way to much & there's a space limit)
14)Going to the Prom with Sarah Watts
15)The constant humor and antics of Debbie Quillen - her shorts kept getting shorter which pissed Mr Bastolla and Mrs Hoatzclaw off
16)Karen Wright being the angel of our little clique that kept us out of a lot more trouble that we could have gotten into.
17)Chemistry with Mr. Jones which was all seniors, except for a sophomore named Willard who we tortured constantly
18)Mr. Sturgill telling my mother that not only were by band practice shorts too tight but they were see-thru too
19)Carrie Banks and Benjamin - Toilet papering Carrie's car
20)Lisa Baxter - Would absolutely love to see what she looks like now

22)Lana Kincer and me winning a dancing competition in high school.
23)First day freshman year - Mark Miracle and I were the prize teacher's kids to throw off the hill. Don't remember exactly but think it was Tim Vanover. Ronald Duty got to toss Mark.
24)Chauncey King (everything) - If anyone has contact with her - tell her to contact me
25)Going to Long John Silver's for lunch in Whitesburg and not having to skip class.
26)Mr. Bastolla talking to us during band and sometime we really could not understand what he was saying.
27)Sharing a locker with Tamara Stewart - I never knew what to expect whether it was something inside or a boyfriend that she just broke up with hanging by the locker waiting to try and make-up
28)When first joining band - the second hardest thing was figuring out the triplets (ernie, flo & jo) and keeping the names correct
29)Kim Harlow being so self conscious of her height
30)The Band having it's own Dance/Formal at the Jenkins Country Club - Disco music!!!
