It's been a crazy couple of years!! We moved from Neon to Simpsonville SC, and lived for 18 months, and are currently moving back "home." Our whole family is excited to get back to where are roots are and where we belong!
I will always remember the following:
1. The Senior play
2. Going on Senior trip to learn the new phases "homa keishna" and a few others from the homeless that me and my friends will always repeat.
3. Cheerleading when we struggled to have a coach and mom stepped in to do the very best she knew how. Soon thereafter, Stacy Marrow became our new coach who proved to us our potential- we won 2nd runner up in district.
4. Skipping school to go to Larissa's and swimming, then coming back, and NOONE asking why our hair was wet!!
5. Angie, Larissa, Melena, Megan, Andrea, and the others that kept it all fun and we were able to spend our highschool life's up and downs together.
6. The one year I played Softball, received Most Improved player, even if I did give myself a concusion!!! Thanks Suzanna and Tara for helping me get to the E.R.
7. Getting away with EVERYTHING in most classes.
8. I never thought I would say this, but, band camp and band trips!!
9. The year we were Motor cycle riders for Halloween and I was Butch because I had my hair cut short (what was I thinking???) Melena thought it was a dream.
10. The only two years that Desiree Nelson went to Neon Highschool. She was one of my BFF!!
11. Decorating for Prom.
12. Using our fingers in the air and saying, "I'm Sure" just to get the class in front of us aggrevated!
13. Drivers Ed. when I almost killed Mr. Lee, Megan, Melena, and Ronnie Maggard.
14. Having home room off the hill- we could be tardy and NONE of the teachers would count it!!
15. Getting Saturday school, thanks Mrs. Furby!! I rode off the hill to band practice, and she was standing off the hill waiting on me and Deanna Banks!!
16. My brother had his appendix taken off so I had permission to drive on and off the hill as needed-we took advantage of that, and spun out 110+ times with 10+ people in my old GMC, in town.
17. Receiving the best paint job award for my Grand-am in the senior awards. HAHA guys!
18. Did we actually do anything in Trig?
19. Hanging out in the bathroom during classes= it was cool!
20.. Last but not least, the smell of a football game, as I lined up to play the fight song on my picolo, and then turned around to cheer our team on!! Rest in Peace FNHS!!!!
