After High School I tried college for a couple of semesters and then found out I was pregnant! It was the greatest thing that ever happened to me! I wouldn't change it for the world my little girl is my life! I haven't been back to school yet, though I plan to in the Spring! At the current moment I am still a stay-at-home mommy and I love it! Me and Matt just bought a house in Mudtown, in Jenkins. When I graduated I had 1 niece....now I have 3...LOL They are great and I love them sooo much. I also have 3 nephews on Matts side and they are also wonderful. I hope all of you I graduated with are doing great!!
There are so many memories I have from Neon. I LOVED it there. Like many others have said it was truly like and enormous family. Everyone knew everyone and welcomed new students with open arms. You were always welcome regardless. The teachers were always the greatest....they were teachers who helped us prepare for the real world but they were also friends that helped you out when you had a problem. Mrs. Potter especially seemed to be one of our best friends in school, which made learning in her class more fun. P.D. and Mr. Holbrook were also great as were Mrs. Taylor, Mr. Robinson, and Mr. Miracle. I miss High School so much and would turn back time to go back to my senior year for even just a day. Unfortunately all of my dear friends from high school have gone their own ways and done great things with their lives. I love to get together with them all again just to remeber all of the great times we had in high school.
One of my favorite memories is when me and Kayla Bates were walking up the goat trail from the drunk driving simulation and seen a snake. We stood and screamed for at least 15 minutes before class let out and someone came to "rescue" us.
I also remember when we went to Barter Theatre and on the was back to the bus me and Audra Boggs were talking and she fell in a little ditch. I was laughing so hard at her that I turned around to keep walking and I fell. Then we both got and were laughing so hard that she ended up falling again! I really miss all my girlss from high school and I really wish we could all get up with each other and have a big girls night just to catch up!!!!
I was also honored to be a part of the last graduating class. I was also the last girl to ever graduate from Flaming-Neon High School. I truly am proud to be able to say that I was a Pirate and I always will be!
