I graduated from Union College at Barbourville, KY with a BS degee in elementary education I earned a master's degree from West Georgia College at Carrollton, GA and an Educational Specialist degree from Jacksonville State University at Jacksonville,Alabama. I have taught 37 years and I am now retired from Gordon County School System in Calhoun, Georgia

I wnt to tell my school friends that I have breast cancer and will be having a double Mastectomy Monday, Dec.13, 2010. I desire your prayers. I pray for many of my friends from time to time. I intend to include a general prayer for all attendees of Fleming-Neon. It was a wonderful school and I have many pleasant memories.I have peace from God. He is carrying me through this. Also prayers from family and friends are a great help. God encourages me through family and friends. At a later date I hope to attach some family photos .I also want to thank you in advance for the prayers! ( Aug.8,2011) I want to say I am sorry I had to miss this year's reunion. My husband and I both are recovering from health problems.We both are doing well considering our age. We thank God for your prayers and his blessings on us and all alumni and attendees of FNHS. My twin sister Emma has been enduring some serious health problems too. I continue to pray for you. Please pray for Emma. I want to say that I went to college with Regina Sergent Potter, Shirley Martin Bently, Kay Martin (her maiden name) Dorothy Lucas Bently, Eddie Tilly,and of course Emma. I know I am rambling.
