Comments:

After graduation, I attended The Stuart School of Business. I began working for the Department of Defense from 1989 to 1992 at which time I married my husband Michael at that time was an active duty Army Offiicer stationed at Fort Monmouth, NJ. We were married in 1992 then were stationed in Fort Sill, OK from 1992-1993. We were then on our way to Fort Jackson from 1993-1996, then we were off to Embry Riddle Aeronautical University in AZ from 1996-1997. In 1997 were were stationed at Fort Ord, CA until 1999. We then headed to Gramisch, Germany from 1999-2001 (we loved Europe!). From 2001-2003 we lived like civilians for 18 months while my husband got his Masters degree at Indiana Univeristy (GO IU!!!!) We were off to VA for our last assignment in 2003 were we finally put down roots in South Riding, VA. I finally have been able to buy our own home, paint rooms and remember were the commisary/food store is. I opened the Potter's Wheel Studio in 2006 with a dear friend in our very own neighborhood. We have a paint-your-own pottery studio, seven potters wheels, and an amazing, unique gallery. I spend my days at the studio and the local elementary schools, teaching handbuilding classes out of clay. I am so blessed that I am able to combine my love of art with my love of children/seniors everyday! I also teach painting technique classes at the local nursing homes. I have made so many friends throught the 20+ years since graduation, but I hold the ones I made in all of you so near in dear to my heart. I can't believe that it has been that long since the crazy days at Neptune Senior High. I look forward to seeing and catching up with each and everyone of you!
