The 55th class reunion is being planned for the weekend of June June 24th.  We will plan on attending the Nevada all school Alumni Banquet on Saturday night.  The   Friday night events  will include an evening at the Gathering Hall (formerly Ryan's Funeral Home).  This is run by Jack (Bugs) Vincent and they also can cater  Barbque Pork sandwiches for $5.00 or Beef sandwich for $6.50.  Sides of Potato Salad and Baked Beans may be purchased for $1.00 each.  They also offer a full rack of Ribs for $20.00 that can be shared.  The committee will provide snack items and sodas for the evening.  The beverages will be Bring Your Own Bottle.  The Camelot theater now has live shows presented by The Talent Factory that can be either a 50's style band or comedy improv production.  If any of you would be interested in attending this Friday evening you can log onto the talent factory Nevada Iowa on your browser to see what type of shows are offered.  They are also on Facebook under The Talent Factory.   In checking with them, they informed that their ticket prices range from $5.00 to $30.00 depending on the show.  They would be able to work out a deal for us when time gets closer and when they know what the show will be.  They sell wines and beers during the production.  

There was some discussion about touring the former home of Phil & Paula Page.  The new owners have converted it to a Bed & Breakfast.  Phil has posted information on the class website if you wanted to make a reservation at the B&B.High School on Saturday afternoon?  We may be able to arrange this if there is enough interest.  If any of you have any suggestions, please post it on the website.  I would like to have some of the local classmates to gather some time to get the planning.  Hopefully, this website will give us all an opportunity to stay connected as a class year around.  Dean Sampson
