JENNIE BARBEY (ROBBINS) 78

Jennie was born August 23, 1945 in New Albany and died February 25, 2024 in Tahlequah, OK

Jennie moved shortly after graduation and lived in several locations before making Tahlequah, Oklahoma her home.  Jennie married and had children and pursued a lifelong dream of nursing.  She worked with a variety of nonprofit centers assisting people with medical, financial, emotional, and social needs.

Later in life Jennie focused on pet rescue.  She mobilized her knowledge and resources in any way she could to give a second chance to pets in need.  In her final days, Jennie viewed her life as having been the most wonder  filled adventure, and would like to thank all who helped make it so.

Jennie is survived by her children, grand children, and great grandchildren.  Her funeral was at Reed Culver Chapel in Tahlequah and she will be laid to rest with her husband W. L. Robbins.
