Carol Butler Sorrels, 69, died of cancer on Sunday, August 17, 2014 at Floyd Memorial Hospital in New Albany. Carol was a native of Charleston, Missouri, retired for the University of Louisville, and a member of Lincoln Hills Christian Church in Corydon.  Carol is survived by her husband, Orben Sorrels and a daughter Michele Spalding. Her final resting place is the Edwardsville Cemetary.
