ROGER D. ECKERT born January 27, 1945 and died December 18, 2011.  Roger retired in 2008 from CSX and moved to Wilmington, NC to escape the Indiana winters.  He enjoyed the beach, parties, darts, cooking and collecting cookbooks.  He died at Lower Cape Fear Hospice from esophageal cancer with metastasis to the lungs and brain.  He is survived by his wife Myrna Roberts Eckert, a son Ryan and daughter Tamara, and one grandson.
