I first met Joann when I moved to Floyds Knobs, IN and enrolled in Lafayette School in 1953. She was a good friend. I lost track of her after high school, them met one of her husbands daughers, who helped care for her. She told me what had happened to Joann. I was sad to hear that. And to think that she still lived only two miles away . . .
